Delhi NCR Mock Drill Live: Mock Drills Conducted Across 55 Locations in Delhi
As part of the nationwide civil defence exercise Operation Abhyaas, Delhi conducted mock drills at 55 key locations, including schools, markets, and metro stations. Sirens, evacuations, and rescue operations simulated emergencies like air raids and fires.
Civil defence volunteers, NCC cadets, and emergency services took part in the drills. Exercises at Khan Market, Chandni Chowk, IGI Airport, and the NDMC and RBI buildings tested public response and coordination. The drills coincided with Indian armed forces launching missile strikes at targets in Pakistan and PoK.
