Operation Sindoor LIVE: Foreign Ministry's Stamp On Zee News' BIG Claim
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, 'It is also strange that the funerals of civilians are being done in coffins wrapped in their national flag, and state honours are being given. Yesterday Pakistan carried out a targeted attack on the Sikh community of Jammu and Kashmir. A gurdwara in Poonch was attacked and members of the Sikh community were targeted; three persons were killed in the attacks. A total of 16 civilians have been killed in Poonch and many others have been injured.'

Operation Sindoor LIVE: Giving Terrorists State Funeral Maybe Pakistan Practice, Says FS Vikram Misri
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Monday exposed Pakistan's tacit links to terror groups like the Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Jais-e-Mohammed. While addressing a media briefing on Operation Sindoor in Delhi on Thursday, Misri questioned why terror operatives were being accorded a state funeral with the presence of military brass.
"It's also odd that the funerals of civilians are carried out with the coffins being draped in Pakistani flags and state honours being accorded. As far as we are concerned, the individuals eliminated at these facilities were terrorists. Giving terrorists state funerals may be a practice in Pakistan. It doesn't seem to make much sense to us."
Mrisri sheld up the photo where Hafiz Abdul Rauf, a US-designated global terrorist and high-level Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, leading funeral prayers for those who died in the Indian missile strikes.
Hafiz Abdul Rauf, a US-designated global terrorist and high-level Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, leading funeral prayers for those who died in the Indian missile strikes. Rauf has been implicated in facilitating LeT's operations, which include high-profile attacks such as the 2008 Mumbai terror attack that killed 166 people. The U.S. Department of the Treasury designated Rauf as a global terrorist in 2010 under Executive Order 13224 for his role in LeT's financial and logistical networks.
"Yesterday Pakistan launched a targeted attack on the Sikh community of J&K- hitting a Gurdwara in Poonch and hitting the Sikh community members, who came under attack, and three individuals were killed in the attacks... A total of 16 civilians have been killed in Poonch and several others have been injured." he added.

Operation Sindoor LIVE: What Did EAM Jaishankar Tell Iranian FM Araghchi On India's Pok Airstrikes?
External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar on Thursday held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi in New Delhi, stating that his visit comes at a time when India is responding to the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack by striking the terror infrastructure in neighbouring Pakistan in a "targetted and measured" manner. He also made it clear that it is not India's intention to escalate the current situation.
"You are visiting India at a time when we are responding to a particularly barbaric terrorist attack on 22 April in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This attack compelled us to respond on 7th May by striking at cross-border terrorist infrastructure. Our response was targetted and measured," said EAM Jaishankar in his opening remarks as both ministers co-chaired the 20th India-Iran Joint Commission Meeting.
With the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei on Wednesday voicing serious concern over the intensifying India-Pakistan conflict and calling for restraint, India also chose the occasion to give the visiting Iranian delegation "a good understanding" of the situation.
"It is not our intention to escalate this situation. However, if there are military attacks on us, there should be no doubt that it will be met with a very very firm response. As a neighbour and close partner, it is important that you have a good understanding of this situation," he said.
As both ministers co-chaired the Joint Commission meeting marking the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two nations, Jaishankar highlighted the growing India-Iran ties and the cooperation that has progressed in many aspects.
"In recent years, our cooperation has progressed in many aspects. There are also situations that we need to address. Prime Minister Modi and President Pezeshkian have met in Kazan in October 2024 and given us guidance on how to develop our ties further. They have also had a phone conversation on 26 April," the EAM stated.

Operation Sindoor LIVE: Foreign Secy Briefs Media On India-Pakistan Tension
Delhi: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri says, "When talks were going on about Pahalgam at the UNSC, Pakistan opposed the role of TRF (The Resistance Front). This is after TRF claimed responsibility of the attack not once, but twice... Col Qureshi and Wing Commander Singh clearly said yesterday as well as today, that India's response is non-escalatory, precise, and measured. Our intention is not to escalate matters, and we are only responding to the escalation. No military targets have been targeted; only terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan has been hit."

Operation Sindoor LIVE: Pakistan's Air Defence Units Suffer Serious Damage, Says Report
Pakistan's Air Defence Units of the HQ-9 air defence missile launchers have suffered heavy damage, ANI reported, citing sources in Islamabad. The reports come even as tensions continue between India and Pakistan after India executed Operation Sindoor in which nine terror sites inside Pakistan were destroyed.
Pakistan's Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said 24 impacts were reported, with different weapons, in six localities during the strikes. The Pakistan Army also made claims of downing drones of the Indian Armed forces, a claim that has not been verified. In fact, the Pakistani side has jumped into a misinformation war against India following India's precision missile strikes. It shows Pakistan's desperate attempt to shift the focus with a barrage of lies and digital theatrics.
Pakistan's state-affiliated accounts have turned to their familiar playbook of recycling outdated images, misrepresenting old videos, and inventing completely fabricated claims to flood the information space with falsehoods so quickly and overwhelmingly that it becomes difficult to separate fact from fiction.
