In a gesture of warmth, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a call from US President Donald Trump on the eve of his 75th birthday, with Trump extending his greetings. In post on X, OM Modi referred to Trump as his “friend” and thanked him for the wishes.
He also reaffirmed India’s support for Trump’s efforts toward a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict.

Like you, I am also fully committed to taking the India-US Comprehensive and Global Partnership to new heights. Earlier, US President Donald Trump shared a post on Social Truth and wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Trump highlighted the support of PM Modi on ending the War between Russia and Ukraine.
"Just had a wonderful phone call with my friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I wished him a very Happy Birthday! He is doing a tremendous job. Narendra: Thank you for your support on ending the War between Russia and Ukraine," Trump Wrote.
