In Russia, women make up 53.55 per cent of the population. The severe losses from World War II and widespread alcoholism have led to a significant gender gap. Russian men face serious health challenges, including the effects of heavy smoking and drinking.

In Lithuania, women account for about 53.02 per cent of the population. Similar to Latvia, high rates of smoking and alcohol use have adversely affected men's health. Many Lithuanian men are moving to countries like Germany and England for better living conditions, further widening the gender gap.

Georgia, with a population of 3.7 million, has 52.98 per cent women. Economic difficulties have led many Georgian men to leave for better opportunities elsewhere, causing a widening gender gap as fewer men remain in the country.
