LIC Announces New Scheme For Class 10th And 12th Pass Students: Check Eligibility, Scholarship Amount, Last Date And How To Apply

LIC's Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2024 aims to support higher education for students from economically weaker families, offering opportunities for better education and employment.  

The LIC's Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2024 offers two scholarships: General Scholarship and Special Scholarship for Girl Child, catering to diverse student needs.  

Applications opened on December 8, 2024, and the last date to apply is December 22, 2024. Only online submissions through LIC's official website www.licindia.in are accepted.  

-Must have passed 10th and 12th standard (or equivalent vocational/diploma) with 60% marks in academic years 2021-2024.

-Family income should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 per annum.

-Should pursue higher education in recognized institutions for fields like medicine, engineering, or vocational courses.  

The LIC Scholarship 2024-25 offers Rs 15,000 per annum for girls pursuing higher studies after Class X in recognized institutions for Intermediate/10+2 pattern, vocational, or diploma courses. However, the scholarship is disbursed in two annual installments of Rs 7,500 each. 

-Passed Class X with 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).

-Enrolled in the first year of higher studies for the academic year 2024-25.

-Annual family income not exceeding Rs 2,50,000, with some relaxation provisions.  

Applications must be submitted online through the official LIC website, and applicants will receive an acknowledgment email after submission.
