Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo unveiled for GT7, gets Hayabusa engine with 3 electric motors: IN PICS

Suzuki has introduced the Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo virtual race car as part of the free Update 1.15 for Gran Turismo 7 video game, which also gets cars like 2021 Toyota GR010 Hybrid and the Roadster Shop Rampage Camaro.

The Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo is a two-seater open top race car, taking design inspiration from Suzuki Swift Sport and it's safe to say the car is a true-blue hot hatchback with elongated hood to add sportiness. 

The Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo is powered by an inline-four 1.3-litre engine taken from the iconic Hayabusa sports bike and also gets three electric motors, two driving the front wheels and one mounted at the back to give the Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo an all-wheel-drive layout. 

The combined output of the Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo stands at 426 horsepower at a screaming 9,700 rpm and a peak torque of 610 Newton-meters.

The Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo is based on the GSX-R/4 concept from 2001, however has been thoroughly updated to keep up with the times. 

The hybrid racecar weighs only 970 kilograms (2,138 pounds) and features two-tone alloy wheels. It's available in various colour options including the Champion Yellow body color, black and red shades. 

The Suzuki's digital creation will not go into production and is just a car visualized for popular racing game. However, a concept real car can be expected to be showcased at public events such as the Tokyo Auto Show.
