Yearender 2018: Bollywood songs that were remade this year

Yo Yo Honey Singh has rehashed the number. The original 'Urvashi' song is from 1994 Telugu film titled 'Kadhalan'. It was used in Hindi film 'Hum Se Hai Muqabala' featuring Prabhudheva and Nagma. The music was by the maestro A R Rahman.

It was sung by A R Rahman, Noel James & Shanker Mahadevan.

One of the most popular songs featuring Urmila Matondkar, Chamma Chamma was remade in 2018. The new video starred Eli Avram and the song was sung by Neha Kakkar while the original one was crooned by Asha Bhosle.

Dekhte Dekhte, the romantic track from Shahid Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu was originally sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. In the film, the song was crooned by Atif Aslam.

This sizzling number featured in Sushmita Sen starrer Tere bin. The new version of the song starred the hot and happening Nora Fatehi. Sung by Neha Kakkar, it became the most-watched song on Youtube this year.

Aankh Marey originally featured in the film Tere Mere Sapne. The song featured Arshad Warsi and Simran. It was sung by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy while the new version of the song is one of the most popular dance numbers of 2018. The new version has been sung by Mika Singh and it features Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan
