Yearender 2021: From Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal to Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal, a look at big fat Bollywood weddings!

The year 2021 is about to end and the COVID-19 pandemic is still not over. However, despite the tumultuous times that we are living in, ‘Big Fat Indian Weddings’ might have been replaced with ‘private and lavish’ ceremonies but nonetheless, they are still occasions of happiness. This year multiple Bollywood and TV actors including Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal, Varun-Dhawan-Natasha Dalal, Rajkummar Rao-Patralekhaa, Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain among many others decided to tie the knot and share their beautiful wedding photos with us.

If indeed there was a wedding of the year award, it would definitely go to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. The two remained tight-lipped about their romance and never made a public appearance together until they got hitched.

The couple tied the knot on December 9 at Six Senses Fort, Barwara, Sawai Madhopur in the presence of family and close friends. The couple chose Sabyasachi for its D-Day.

Bollywood actress Yami Gautam married Uri filmmaker Aditya Dhar in an intimate wedding ceremony with only family and close friends in attendance on June 4 in her hometown in Himachal Pradesh.

Varun Dhawan was the first Bollywood A-lister to tie the knot in 2021. The actor tied the knot to his high school sweetheart Natasha Dalal in an intimate ceremony on January 24 at a farmhouse in Alibaug. The duo wore Manish Malhotra on their wedding.

Kundali Bhagya actress Shraddha Arya married Naval officer Rahul Nagpal in a private ceremony in New Delhi on November 16. The event was attended by family, close friends and the actress's TV gang. On her wedding day, Shraddha chose to wear a red lehenga by Ejaaz Couture and hubby Rahul donned a white sherwani by Sidharth K Kakkar. 

The Kapil Sharma Show fame comedienne Sugandha Mishra tied the knot with ace stand-up comedian Dr Sanket Bhosale in Jalandhar, Punjab on April 26. The marriage ceremony was attended by family and close friends only amid the COVID-19 protocol.

Actor Anil Kapoor's younger daughter, filmmaker Rhea Kapoor got hitched to her longtime partner Karan Boolani at an intimate wedding ceremony at her Juhu residence on August 14.

The actress opted for a white chanderi saree by designer Anita Dongre for her big day.

Actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa exchanged wedding vows after dating more than a decade on November 15 at at the Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort. The couple wore outfits by Sabyasachi.

Actress Evelyn Sharma, who is famous for her roles in films like ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Yaariyan’, got married on June 7 to her long-time beau and fiance Tushaan Bhindi - an Australia based surgeon, in a dreamy countryside white wedding in Australia.

Bollywood actress Dia Mirza surprised her fans by announcing her marriage to private equity professional Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15. The actress wore a beautiful red banarsi saree and her wedding festivities took place in her Bandra residence.

Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande tied the knot with her boyfriend Vicky Jain on December 14 at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The couple wore outfits by Manish Malhota.

Actors Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal became husband and wife on November 21 in a grant wedding celebration. Alia Bhatt, Rhea Chakraborty, Vaani Kapoor and others made it a star-studded event. Bride Anushka opted for an unconventional lilac colour lehenga for her D-Day and Aditya wore a pale yellow colour sherwani with intricate work and a white turban.

The Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin stars Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma got hitched in Indore on November 30 in the presence of their family and close friends.
