Rajendra Gudha, removed from the Ashok Gehlot ministry, secured victory in this seat in 2008 and 2018 under a BSP ticket before switching to the Congress on both occasions. Gudha, who alleges possession of a "red diary" outlining corruption by Gehlot, is presently aligned with Eknath Shinde.

For the Nathdwara assembly constituency, congress has fielded CP Joshi while BJP has given ticket to Mewar royal family member Kunwar Vishwaraj Shingh.

For over two decades, the Congress stronghold in Jodhpur district has consistently elected Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to the Assembly, beginning with his victory in a bypoll in 1999. In the recent election, he secured an impressive 63 percent of the total votes cast.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is poised to participate in the upcoming assembly election from her stronghold constituency of Jhalrapatan, where she emerged victorious in the 2018 elections as well.

Sachin Pilot, a prominent Congress figure contesting Ashok Gehlot’s leadership in the state, secured victory from Tonk during the 2018 elections. The constituency boasts a significant population of Gurjar, Scheduled Caste, and Muslim voters.

Rajyavardhan Rathore is all set to contest the Rajasthan assembly elections from the Jhotwara seat in the Jaipur district which was won by Lalchand Kataria of the Indian National Congress in 2018

The BJP clinched victory in Laxmangarh solely in 2003. Since 2008, Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra has consistently represented this seat and he is all set to contest again in 2023.
