After two centuries in the ongoing first Test against England, Rishabh Pant now holds the record for most Test hundreds as a wicketkeeper for India, going past MS Dhoni's tally of six.  

Rishabh Pant scored 134 in the first innings and 118 in the second of the Headingley Test, becoming the first Indian wicketkeeper to achieve twin centuries in a single Test match. He is only the second wicketkeeper in Test history to do so, following Andy Flower, who scored 141 and 199* for Zimbabwe against South Africa in Harare in 2001.  

Rishabh Pant has become the first India batter to score hundreds in both innings of a Test in England. He is only the ninth visiting batter to do so and the first since Steven Smith in 2019. 

Rishabh Pant hit 9 sixes in the Headingley match, the joint-most by any batter in a Test in England. Andrew Flintoff and Ben Stokes also hit nine against Australia in Birmingham in 2005 and at Lord's in 2023, respectively.  

Rishabh Pant became the first Indian batter to score centuries in both innings of a Test match on English soil. Overall, Pant became the seventh Indian batter to score centuries in both innings of a Test match, joining an elite list of players like Vijay Hazare, Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma.  

After his fantastic century in the Headingley Test match, KL Rahul became the Indian opener with most Test centuries in England (3). He surpassed Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar and others for the massive milestone.
