Players must compete in domestic matches to stay eligible for national team selection. This policy fosters match fitness, strengthens the domestic cricket ecosystem, and inspires young talents.

Players are required to travel with the team during tours and matches. Separate travel arrangements with families are discouraged, maintaining team cohesion and discipline.

Baggage limits are now precisely defined:

Long tours: 5 pieces (up to 150 kg).

Short tours: 4 pieces (up to 120 kg).

Excess baggage costs will be borne by individual players.

Personal staff like managers or chefs will no longer accompany players on tours, unless pre-approved by BCCI. This minimizes logistical challenges and emphasizes team focus.

Players must consult team management before sending personal or training equipment to Bengaluru's Centre of Excellence. Uncoordinated shipments will incur individual costs.

To avoid distractions, players are barred from personal shoots or endorsements during ongoing series or tours, ensuring full focus on team responsibilities and cricket.

On overseas tours longer than 45 days, players’ families can visit for up to two weeks. Shared accommodations will be covered by BCCI, while other expenses remain personal.

Players are required to attend the full duration of practice sessions and travel collectively to maintain team spirit and a disciplined work ethic.

Attendance at BCCI’s promotional activities and shoots is now mandatory, underlining the board's commitment to its stakeholders and the game’s visibility.

Regardless of early match completions, players must remain with the team until the series concludes, ensuring team unity and fostering camaraderie.
