India’s star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal became the first cricketer from his team to take a five-wicket haul in T201 cricket. He achieved this feat against England in 2017 in Bengaluru.

Veteran India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped five wickets in a T20I game against South Africa in 2018. 

India’s star spinner Kuldeep Yadav registered a five-wicket haul against England in July 2018.

Young Indian pacer Deepak Chahar scalped a five-wicket haul against Bangladesh in 2019.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar repeated the feat as he became the first Indian cricketer to clinch two five-wicket hauls in 2022. He attained the milestone in the T20I match against Afghanistan.

Once again, Kuldeep Yadav did magic with the ball as he scalped a five-wicket haul in the T20I game against South Africa in 2023.

Star Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy clinched his maiden five-wicket haul in December 2024 in the T20I match against South Africa.

Varun Chakravarthy continued his brilliant form and picked up his second five-wicket haul in January 2024 in the T20I game against England in Rajkot.
