Manish Pandey made his IPL debut with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2009, when he rose to fame as a young, promising talent.

In the same 2009 season, Pandey scored a sensational 114 off 73 balls against Deccan Chargers, becoming the first Indian to score a century in IPL history.

After his stint with RCB, Pandey was picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), where he became a reliable middle-order batsman.

The DC acquired Pandey for INR 2.4 crore in the 2023 IPL auction. However, he had a below-par season, scoring 160 runs from ten matches at an average of 17.78. 

In 2018, Pandey was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 11 crore, one of the highest bids of the season. He played key innings for SRH, though he struggled to maintain consistent form.

Pandey played a pivotal role in KKR’s 2014 IPL triumph, scoring a match-winning 94 off 50 balls in the final against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), earning him the Man of the Match award.
