Canada competition watchdog probes Indigo, Kobo over e-books
Canada`s Competition Bureau said on Tuesday it is investigating Indigo Books and Music Inc, the country`s biggest bookstore chain, as part of a probe into alleged anti-competitive practices in the e-book market.

Apple Inc reached an out-of-court settlement with U.S. states and other complainants in an e-book price-fixing class action lawsuit on Monday, effectively avoiding a trial in which the iPad maker faced more than USD 800 million in claims.
