Mamata Banerjee To Chandrababu Naidu: Who Is India’s Richest CM? The Poorest Holds Only Rs 15 Lakh In Assets – Check List
A recent ADR report reveals that Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu is the wealthiest among India’s state and union territory leaders, with assets totaling over Rs 931 crore, while West Bengal’s Mamata Banerjee is the poorest, with just Rs 15 lakh in assets. The average assets of 31 CMs stand at Rs 52.59 crore, far exceeding the national per capita income. Notably, Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh holds the second-highest assets but also the highest liabilities, while 42% of CMs face criminal cases.
