What Weapons Does Qatar Possess; Can It Militarily Respond To Israeli Strikes?
Qatar and Israel are worlds apart in military strength. In the 2025 Global Firepower Index, Israel ranks 15th while Qatar stands 62nd. Israel fields F-35 jets, nuclear weapons and Merkava tanks. Qatar relies on Rafale jets and Hellfire missiles. Its compact and defensive military cannot match Israel’s offensive capabilities.
