The Khiladi Kumar has begun shoot for his upcoming project 'Padman' which again is based on a man named Arunachalam Muruganantham, whose initiative to invent low-cost sanitary pad making machines in rural India helped not only his wife but other women in his village to lead a hygienic life.

Girls in government schools in UP to get free sanitary pads
In a laudable move, the Uttar Pradesh government will soon provide free sanitary napkins to reduce the absenteeism of girls in schools during their periods, an official said, adding the move follows growing concerns over personal hygiene of girls attaining puberty.
