Difficulties in rescue due to increase in water level of river- SDRF

In Uttarakhand, the rescue operation has been stopped due to the rising water level of Dhauliganga. The SDRF team said in a press conference that the water level of the river was causing problems, so the rescue team has been taken out of Tunnel.

Victim families will get ₹4-4 Lakh compensation- CM Trivendra Singh Rawat

Regarding the devastation caused in Uttarakhand, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said in a press conference that the team of ITBP and SDRF are engaged in rescuing people. Also, the CM announced a compensation of ₹4 lakh each for the families of the victims.

Patna gears up for Chhath, 22 ghats declared as 'dangerous'

"From Danapur to Patna city, arrangements have been made at as many as 90 ghats for fast observers. Chhat ghats are being prepared on the banks of the Ganga river for devotees. As a precautionary measure, barricades have been put up at the ghats in the wake of the rise in the water level in the Ganga river," said a district administration official.
